Hackers, an employee or deliberate atrocious publicity could be several reasons why an accident claims management company’s website would contain a lewd, sexual and bizarre testimonial about earning compensation. Earlier this month, the CMC’s website displayed a testimonial from a former claimant who claims he and his boyfriend had committed a lewd sexual act in a public restroom where he slipped and fell, which caused him a head injury that had him delivered to the hospital earning £2000 in compensation thanks to the said CMC.
The claims management company took down its website instantly after 3 hours of seeing the testimonial. When it came back on after another 3 hours, the post was deleted.
The testimonial contained vulgar words, which were censored and blurred, yet the scenario was suggestive to give readers a context of what happened. The post was featured in UK’s The Sun and commenters were split as to seeing the scenario as a publicity stunt, a hacking stint or just an employee’s form of goodbye to his company being disgruntled. It is suggested that it was a hacking or inside prank because the word “stitches” was mis-spelled in the testimonial.
A certain Mr. C Eyley, who claims he received £2000 for 10 stitches in his head and claims he “burst his butt”, sent the testimonial.
